Cryptosaurus data protection policy
Cryptosaurus complies with the data protection laws of the United Kingdom, including the Data Protection Act (DPA), and manages your data in accordance with the recommendations and guidelines of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Cryptosaurus is a registered Data Controller with the ICO, and our registration number is ZA266689. This registration is required because of the personal information that is stored for each registered user, including identification documents which are used for identity verification.
Cryptosaurus will not sell any personal information to any third party at any time.
When a user asks to sell cryptocurrency through the Cryptosaurus website, it will be necessary to share that user’s name with the buyer for the purpose of fulfilling that specific trade. No other information will be shared.
All data is held securely, and is only kept for as long as is required by law. The only exception to this would be if Cryptosaurus were asked to work with a law enforcement agency or government department – such data requests would be subject to the laws of England and Wales.
If you have any concerns or queries, or would like to understand more about how we store personal information and identity documents, please get in touch.
