How to buy
Step 1: Register and log in
For guidance on how to register, please see our ‘How to register’ page.
It is not possible to purchase coins on Cryptosaurus without registering, logging in and being ‘verified’. Users without accounts, and those that have yet to be verified, can browse the available coins, but will not have the option to buy until registered and verified.
Step 2: Ensure you have a suitable cryptocurrency wallet
Prior to purchasing, you will need to have created a cryptocurrency wallet that is compatible with the coins you would like to buy.
If you do not have a wallet, you will need to obtain one from a third party.
Your chosen wallet provider will be able to offer guidance on how to create your wallet – we are unable to assist with this process.
Step 3: Browse our coins, and add some to your basket
Identify the cryptocurrencies that you would like to purchase and view the individual product pages for information on minimum purchase quantities, etc.
Specify the wallet address that you would like your coins sent to, and select the quantity of coins that you would like, then select ‘Add to basket’.
Each coin is listed with its equivalent GBP value per crypto coin, and each has a minimum purchase amount with predefined quantity ‘steps’.
Please be very careful when entering your wallet address – we cannot be held responsible for coins being transferred to the wrong wallet.
Step 4: View your basket
Confirm that your wallet address is correct for each coin that you would like to purchase, and that you have set the desired quantity.
Coins can be removed and quantities changed from within the basket – when updating quantities, be sure to select ‘Update basket’.
The basket provides a total cost, including our fees.
We strongly advise checking the contents of your basket before checking out.
Step 5: Proceed to checkout
At the checkout you will be asked to confirm your personal details. Please do not make any changes to these unless strictly necessary – any changes may mean that we need to re-verify your identity, and we may therefore need to cancel your order.
If you have any further comments or requests, please include them in ‘Additional information’ box.
Your order will be summarised at the foot of the checkout page, where you will also be asked to confirm that you have read our terms and conditions.
Once you are satisfied, select ‘Place order’ to complete the checkout process and submit your order.
Step 6: Send us your payment
We currently only take payment by Direct Bank Transfer, details of which will be provided on the order acknowledgement screen and the order confirmation email that you will receive.
We do not accept payment by cash counter credit / over-the-counter payment. Anyone attempting to make payment by depositing cash directly into our business account will have their order cancelled, their account closed, and their money returned to them (within 60 days). All payments must be made by Direct Bank Transfer (or one of our other accepted payment methods) to comply with money laundering regulations.
Please make your payment directly into our bank account, using your Order ID as the payment reference. Your coins will not be transferred until the funds have cleared in our account.
Once payment has been received and confirmed, your order will be processed – we aim to complete this processing within three to six working hours.
You will receive a number of emails as your order is processed, and you can monitor progress on your ‘Orders’ page.
