How to register

Step 1: Open an account

Start the account creation process by providing your name and email address on our registration form. You will receive an email confirming your registration, and this will contain your password. This email should arrive promptly after registration – please check your junk mail folder if there appears to be a delay.

Step 2: Log in

Once you have your password, you can log in to the website. We recommend that you change this password to something secure and memorable when you first log in.

Step 3: Complete your personal profile

Before you can purchase any coins, you will need to complete your personal profile so that we can verify your identity. This is in accordance with UK ‘Know Your Customer‘ requirements.

You will need to provide proof of name including date of birth and proof of address as two separate image or PDF files – it is important that these are legible, so please ensure your document scans or photographs are of a high quality.

Proof of name can be your driving license, passport, or other photographic ID.

Proof of address can be a utility bill, council tax letter, bank statement, mortgage letter or insurance certificate or any other official correspondence dated within the last 3 months.

Please do not use the same document for both file uploads – the documents must be different.

Step 4: Wait for your identity to be verified

Once your profile is complete, the Cryptosaurus team will review your information and verify your identity. We aim to complete verifications within six to twelve working hours, and you will receive an automated email once you have been verified. During busy and out-of-hours periods, verifications may take a little longer.

If any issues arise during the verification process, we will contact you directly for clarification and additional information.

You will not be able to make any purchases until your account has been verified.

Changes to your profile after verification has been completed will also be reviewed and may result in a need for re-verification – at this point your account will be restricted until your details have been confirmed.
